Finding the radio in the car of today and tomorrow…


In-car entertainment systems have changed dramatically in recent years. Connected cars offer users a variety of ways to access music, podcasts, streaming services and other media. And more than that: the entertainment itself is only part of what happens in the centre console. It is a digital all-rounder and remote control in one – and the development is far from over. This is shown, among other things, by the experiences of the IAA Mobility in Munich and the On-Track Study of the Media Authority of North Rhine-Westphalia. A decisive question, especially for the radio industry, is and remains how the findability of one’s own content can be guaranteed and what requirements there are for the development of content for the usage situation in the car.
